Allan started his career with the firm in 2003 and returned as a partner in 2010 after several years with Baker & McKenzie LLP. He practices in all areas of corporate and securities law and is involved in developing the firm's international relationships.

Allan has extensive experience executing international transactions on behalf of both publicly listed and private companies. He has been counsel to companies involved in many high profile transactions in recent years and he has been featured in the 'Big Deals' section of Lexpert magazine on numerous occasions. He has been a regular contributor to the 'Expert Insights' section of Canadian Corporate Counsel magazine on matters of securities law and corporate governance and is a frequent conference speaker and university guest lecturer on finance and legal topics.

He is heavily involved in provincial politics as a fundraiser, organiser, and as president of his local riding association.
