Second Year Summer Program

Loopstra Nixon LLP will be hiring three second year summer students (Class of 2019) to join our firm from late May to early August 2018.
The Loopstra Nixon Summer Program provides students with the opportunity to experience our firm prior to starting their articling year. Students provide support across all practice areas of the firm. This approach allows students to further develop their legal interests and overall comprehension for the practice of law. Over the duration of the summer our students handle a wide range of assignments including research, document drafting and assisting with litigation and corporate transactions. Students with an entrepreneurial approach to their work will thrive in our environment.
Along with the workplace experience, students are invited to join us for social activities throughout their tenure to engage with all levels of the Loopstra Nixon team.
Application Period: Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 5pm - midnight on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Resumes received outside this window will not be accepted.
Responses: Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 5pm. Calls to interviewees and e-mail regrets to other candidates.
First Round Interviews: Monday, November 20, 2017. First round interviews held at Loopstra Nixon LLP. Out of town applicants without the ability to attend in person should have access to Apple FaceTime, Google Hangouts or Skype. Please note, in person interviews are preferred.
Candidates will be notified by 5:00 pm of interview results.
Second Round Interviews: Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
Offers: Offers extended Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 5pm. Unsuccessful candidates will receive regrets via email.
