Having earned his Juris Doctor from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School, Robert will be returning to Loopstra Nixon this year for his articles of clerkship. He first joined the firm as a summer student in 2017 and has returned every summer following this.
During his time at Osgoode, Robert has had first-hand experience assisting lawyers with a variety of legal matters, with an emphasis on municipal, corporate, and commercial law. These experiences provided Robert the opportunity to attend the Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court and various LPAT matters. Robert is now looking forward to continuing and expanding upon this work over the course of his articling term.
Before attending law school, Robert received his Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the Schulich School of Business, graduating with a specialization in Finance. Outside of law, Robert pursues his passions for saxophone, reading, and downhill skiing whenever possible. He is currently hoping that winter comes early this year.
