Alison’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including commercial litigation, construction law and employment and labour law. She has represented corporations and individuals in a variety of commercial disputes as well as employers and employees in labour and employment matters.
She has appeared before the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Her courtroom work includes breach of contract disputes, wrongful dismissal actions and construction lien matters.
Alison is a native of Toronto and enjoys taking advantage of all the City has to offer, including its great food, art and theatre and outdoor spaces. Alison enjoys running, cooking and Blue Jays games in the summer.
After graduating with a degree in psychology from the University of Western Ontario, Alison attended Osgoode Hall Law School and obtained her Juris Doctor. She articled with Loopstra Nixon before joining the firm as an associate in 2011.

Advises employers and employees on their rights and obligations when employment is terminated.
Represents commercial parties in breach of contract and negligence actions.
