This multidisciplinary team formulates solutions drawing upon expertise in corporate transactions, capital reorganization, litigation, creditor protection/creditor rights, taxation, securities and regulatory compliance. The group applies intensive and innovative efforts in fast-moving situations which require lawyers to think differently and creatively.

The team is experienced in special situations where a business and its financial or governance structure comes under pressure or where the control or economic value of a business is at risk or ‘in-play’.

• Advised Seychelles based minority shareholder group in dispute regarding proceeds of sale of large scale last mile distribution center resulting in successful share purchase transaction for client.
• Advised majority shareholders in numerous transaction 'squeeze-out' transactions of minority shareholders
• Advised global fintech company in its battle for control of Canadian based public company including use of both court and transactional solutions to compel changes of control.
