Emily both summered and articled with Loopstra Nixon before returning in 2019 as an associate practicing labour and employment law. She works with employers in both the private and public sectors on labour, employment and human rights issues.
Emily obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario. At Western, she was a member of student council and participated in an exchange with the University of Nottingham in her third year. Prior to law school, Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University, majoring in Industrial Relations. While at McGill, she went on an exchange to the University of Melbourne.
Outside of the office, Emily spends her time obsessing over the Raptors, spinning, or up north with her family.
