Valerie is a partner in the municipal liability group. Valerie’s practice focuses on representing various Ontario municipalities in a wide-range of defence matters. Prior to joining the firm, Valerie worked several years at a litigation boutique practicing insurance litigation. Valerie has extensive experience in subrogation matters, property damage disputes, product liability, fire loss claims, plumbing failures and motor vehicle claims.
Valerie has acted as counsel at examinations for discovery, mediations and pre-trial conference hearings. She has appeared before various levels of court in Ontario, and regularly assisted senior counsel with complex litigation claims.
