Sarah is an associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency group where she regularly works with creditors, debtors, licensed insolvency trustees and receivers in insolvency, bankruptcy and receivership scenarios.
Sarah also maintains an active corporate & commercial law practice in which she has experience working on complex commercial disputes, commercial lending transactions, and restructurings to name a few.
While completing her J.D. at the University of Western Ontario, Sarah worked in the Dispute Resolution Clinic and conducted mediations for people within the community, and was involved in coordinating the student exchange program for international students arriving in London, Ontario. Prior to law school, she obtained an International Bachelor of Business Administration, and attended the NEOMA Business School in Rouen, France.
Before joining the Loopstra Nixon LLP team, Sarah completed her articles at a full-service firm in London, Ontario. Sarah is fluent in French and is learning American Sign Language.
Beyond her practice, Sarah enjoys horseback riding, learning new languages, traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
