Jeremy obtained his JD from Queen’s University in 2019, where he received the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin Mooting Award and the Queen’s Law Prize in Advanced Constitutional Law.
While at Queen’s, Jeremy volunteered with the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, providing pro bono legal services to inmates in the Kingston area. During his time at QPLC, he appeared before independent chairpersons in penitentiaries and the Parole Board of Canada.
Jeremy was heavily involved in the competitive moot program, representing Queen’s at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna. He won second best factum and was a top 10 oralist at the Davies Corporate/Securities Moot, and he competed in the Grand Moot before Justice Côté of the Supreme Court of Canada.
Jeremy volunteered in numerous roles including as an editor for the Queen’s Law Journal, as President of the Queen’s Law Litigation Society and on the Board of Directors of the Grad Club, a student-run, non-profit pub on campus. He also played rugby for the Queen’s Law Tortfeasors RFC.
In his free time, Jeremy enjoys travelling, backcountry camping and playing pickup shinny on outdoor rinks in Toronto.
