Kiren Gaidhu (Articling 2021 - 2022)

Kiren completed her LLB (Hons) and post-graduate studies at City, University of London in London, England. During her time in England, Kiren worked as a paralegal at a large multi-service law firm where she handled her own small claims caseload and assisted in multi-million dollar insurance claims.

Throughout law school, Kiren was actively involved in various activities. In her first year of law school, Kiren participated in and won the city-wide University of London mock trial. In 3L, Kiren was elected by her peers to be the City Law School Student Representative Officer, acting as liaison between the School Council and all law students. During her post-graduate studies, Kiren was actively involved in editing and writing for the City Law School Law Journal.

Prior to joining Loopstra Nixon LLP, Kiren was working at a large multi-service firm in downtown Toronto. She was assisting an Environmental Law Partner and two associates who worked in the Indigenous Law sector.

Outside of the office, Kiren is an active participant in her local volleyball league. Kiren actively participates in the Heatwave/Icewave Sick Kids Volleyball Tournament which she hopes to continue with Loopstra Nixon LLP. Kiren enjoys reading, travelling and indulging in true-crime documentaries.
