Following her completion of law school at Queen’s University, Sarah has returned to Loopstra Nixon as an articling student for the 2019–2020 term. During her time at Queen’s, Sarah volunteered as a student caseworker at the Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic, providing legal assistance to community members in the Kingston/Frontenac region. Sarah also served as an executive member of the Queen's Sustainability and Environmental Law Club, an Orientation Leader to first-year law students, a Student Ambassador for the Faculty of Law, and an on-campus associate for a major legal research company. Sarah also studied abroad at Herstmonceux Castle in England, where she received a certificate in Public International Law.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys travelling, reading as many books as she can, and shamelessly watching reality television.
Sarah holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography and Environmental Science from McMaster University, where she graduated with highest distinction.
