We represent management/ employers, both public and private sector, on a range of employment (non-union) matters, including daily human resource management issues, dismissal and discipline of employees, and guidance on employment standards and other applicable employment-related legislation.

Our services also include the drafting of a variety of employment agreements, confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements, and workplace policies and handbooks as well as the interpretation and legal analysis of already existing agreements.

Advice and counsel with respect to employment matters are provided with respect to the sale/ acquisition/ merger of a business. This is usually done in conjunction with our corporate commercial team.

Due to the representation of clients in employment matters, we regularly appear before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ministry of Labour, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
