We advise clients on Canadian patent law throughout the full life cycle of an invention, from early‑stage protection and filing strategies to commercialization and enforcement. Our services include advising on patentability, drafting and prosecuting Canadian patent applications, managing Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications and national‑phase entries, and coordinating with foreign counsel on international patent portfolios.

We also assist with freedom‑to‑operate analyses, validity and infringement opinions, patent licensing and assignment agreements, and intellectual property due diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and financings. Where disputes arise, we represent clients in patent litigation and proceedings before the Federal Court and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
