Andrew Weizman

Andrew provides efficient, effective and practical advice to employers.

 Andrew regularly advises and represents clients on all employment and labour related matters, including wrongful dismissals, employment standards compliance, labour grievances, human rights, accommodations, occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation, class actions, workplace fraud, workplace investigations, and disability insurance benefits. Andrew also has extensive experience acting as the employment and labour specialist on a variety of public and private mergers and acquisitions.

 Andrew has represented employers before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, the Ministry of Labour, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and private arbitration.

 Andrew has worked with employers across many sectors and industries, with particular experience in information technology, banking, telecommunications,  post-secondary education, manufacturing, and venture startups.

 Andrew holds a Juris Doctor from Windsor University and a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University. 

 In his free time, Andrew enjoys photography, cooking, gardening and cheering on the Raptors.
