Bio

Cesare joined the firm in 2016 after articling and working several years for a prominent Toronto insurance defence firm.

His background includes work in the private insurance industry, focusing on property damage disputes, subrogation matters, motor vehicle accidents, personal injury matters, occupiers' liability claims and product liability disputes. He has appeared before the Ontario Small Claims Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Cesare has been quoted in The Lawyers Weekly, commenting on the British Columbia Supreme Court's decision in Chandi (Guardian ad litem) v Atwell, concerning plaintiffs' ability to recover interest charges paid to fund disbursements.

Cesare practices civil litigation, with a focus on municipal liability and insurance defence litigation. He represents various Ontario-based municipalities and their insurers in defence matters.
