Bio
When it comes to Banking, Real Estate and Business matters, Jeff is a well known and respected authority.
His practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate, commercial leasing, financial services and banking, bankruptcy and insolvency and business. He has lectured at various seminars in banking and real estate for the Canadian Bar Association-Ontario Continuing Education, as well as for many financial institutions and professional organizations. He is the author of numerous articles on real estate, business matters and banking related issues.
Jeff’s firm, Beber Professional Corporation joined Loopstra Nixon LLP in 2024. Loopstra Nixon will not only provide Jeff with administrative support allowing Jeff to concentrate exclusively on his practice but as well the support of a team of skilled lawyers, law clerks and professionals to assist not only in Jeff’s specific areas of practice but as well in other areas of the law to provide additional support for the needs of his clients.
Jeff has served on the board of directors of several private and not-for profit organizations and served as the President of The Ontario Chapter of Nacore, (International Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives) and of Bayview Golf & Country Club.
In the community, Jeff has been involved in many charitable works including the Concert for inclusion in support of Parasport Ontario. Jeff has also coached hockey, soccer and basketball.
Jeff and his wife live in Toronto, where they both enjoy playing golf and tennis as well as frequenting local restaurants and theatre with friends. They also share a love for travel and spending quality time with their children and grandchildren.
