Bio

Mark’s practice has always been focussed on Creditors’ Rights. 

He represents financial institutions and other businesses in the enforcement of their security and the collection of their receivables.  He has developed a particular expertise in enforcement litigation in the area of vehicle and equipment finance and legal recovery work for alternative lenders.

Mark advises on all aspects of debt recovery and in particular the issues facing Creditors under the Personal Property Security Act, the Repair and Storage Liens Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.

He provides cost effective creative solutions to maximize recovery for Creditors.

Mark attended McMaster University where he graduated with a Bachelor of  Arts & Science and attended McGill University for Law School.  After graduation, he was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2000 and to the Bar in Alberta in 2017.

Away from office, Mark loves spending time with his family and playing or watching sports or planning an annual baseball road trip.
