Marta Markiewicz

Marta is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate group.

Marta’s practice focuses on a broad range of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing involving property and vacant land. She is also regularly involved in complex title and conveyancing matters arising in real estate transactions.

Marta joined Loopstra Nixon LLP as a commercial law clerk, later articled with the firm, and returned as an associate following her call to the Bar in 2025.

Marta holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Laws from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Poland.

Marta is fluent in English and Polish. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, travelling, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
