Bio
Melina is an associate in the firm's Employment and Labour group.
Melina practices a broad range of employment and labour law matters. She has experience assisting employers with labour relations, collective bargaining, grievance referrals, wrongful dismissal actions, human rights complaints, and workplace investigations. During her articles, Melina developed a strong interest in the industrial and construction sectors.
Melina was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2025. Melina holds a Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. During law school, she explored her passion for advocacy by acting as the Director of Administration for the Lincoln Alexander Advocacy Society. Melina also holds a Bachelor of Science from York University. Through her unique background, Melina was trained to use her analytical skills to solve complex problems.
Through her prior experience working in the long-term care and retirement industry, Melina understands the importance of collaboration and fostering trust with clients. She continues to embrace these skills in her legal practice, as she strives to maintain meaningful client relationships and to advise clients on effective business-focused strategies.
