Bio

Paula joined the firm as an associate, having previously gained a range of experience in areas including cross-border corporate tax, corporate transactions, and commercial drafting at a Toronto firm. Her corporate commercial experience has a particular focus on entertainment law.

Her corporate tax research on international digital taxation was published in The Tax Advisor's Guide to the Canada-U.S. Tax Treaty (Carswell Thomson Reuters), written by David Kerzner.

Paula earned her J.D. from Queen's University, where she co-founded Volunteers for Mental Health and Addiction (VMHA), a student-led initiative supporting vulnerable children in the Kingston community. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University, graduating with distinction.

After competing for several years on Queen's varsity track and field team, Paula continues to enjoy running with her twin sister, and their Portuguese rescue dog.
