Bio

Sarah is an associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring Group and also practices corporate and commercial law. 

Sarah earned both her Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa’s combined program, graduating with Honours. During her studies, she competed in the Charles-Rousseau International Law Moot and received the Best Factum Award in the Gowlings WLG 1L Moot. She was also involved with the Ottawa Law Review and served as a teaching assistant for the Telfer School of Management.

Throughout her studies, Sarah competed as a fencer with the University of Ottawa's Varsity Fencing Team.

Prior to joining the firm, Sarah summered and articled at a leading litigation and insolvency boutique firm in Toronto, where she gained experience in restructuring proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA), the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA), and other statutes. She also worked on complex commercial disputes involving construction litigation, as well as shareholder and partnership dissolutions.

Sarah is fully bilingual and can advise clients in both English and French. Outside of her practice, she enjoys learning new languages and travelling.
