Bio
Stephanie is an associate in the firm’s Municipal & Insurance Litigation Group.
Prior to joining Loopstra Nixon, Stephanie worked in the litigation group of a full-service international law firm. Stephanie gained experience across a broad range of litigation and regulatory matters, including commercial disputes, class actions, municipal litigation, environmental matters, and development-related proceedings.
Before attending law school, Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Queen’s University, achieving Dean's List recognition.
Stephanie obtained her J.D. from Queen’s University. During her studies, she competed in the Bowman National Tax Law Moot, presenting oral arguments before a panel of appellate and Federal Court judges. She also served as a student caseworker at the Queen’s Family Law Clinic, Vice President of the Queen’s Law Students’ Society, and an Editor of the Queen’s Law Journal.
