Timothy Chubb

Timothy Chubb is a Partner and member of the firm's Business Law Group. He advises clients on private equity and venture capital transactions, as well as domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and fund formation activities.

He provides strategic guidance on complex transaction structures across multiple industries, with extensive experience navigating sophisticated domestic and international deal structures. His clients include private equity and venture capital firms, waste management companies, media and telecom businesses, technology companies, and industrial and manufacturing organizations, with particular expertise across the technology, government, agriculture, consumer, and environmental sectors.

Beyond his transactional work, Tim serves as Chair of the Law Clerks Committee in the Toronto office and is actively involved in the broader corporate and private equity communities. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, the American Bar Association, the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association, and the Association for Corporate Growth, and has spoken at conferences on corporate law, private equity, and venture capital.
