Bio

Zhirui Guan is an associate in Loopstra Nixon’s Commercial Litigation group.

Zhirui earned her Bachelor’s degree from Yale University and her JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During law school, she was actively involved in legal aid clinics, providing assistance to individuals navigating a range of legal issues.

Zhirui joined Loopstra Nixon LLP as a summer student, completed her articles with the firm, and returned as an associate following her call to the Ontario Bar in 2026. She is building a broad commercial litigation practice and enjoys helping clients navigate disputes of all sizes and complexities.

Outside the office, Zhirui enjoys exploring used bookstores and spending time at the boxing gym.
