R. Graham Phoenix presents at the OBA's "Insolvency Law for Uncertain Economic Times"

R. Graham Phoenix, head of the firm's Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring Practice, joined a team of leading insolvency law practitioners as part of the faculty at the annual OBA Institute on February 2, 2016.

This year's Insolvency Law Section was themed, "Insolvency Law for Uncertain Economic Times".

Graham presented his paper, "Case Law Update & Current Developments: The 'Roving Receivership', The Costs of 'Roving', The Shortened Long-Arm of the CRA and Contingent Claim Craziness!" and joined a panel to discuss recent case law and current developments affecting the practice of insolvency and restructuring in Ontario and beyond. The OBA Institute-Insolvency Law Section presentation was held on February 2, 2016 in Toronto and was attended in-person and online by members of the Ontario Bar Association across Ontario, Canada and abroad.
