Bio

Christophe is a partner in the firm's commercial litigation group.

Christophe has a broad litigation practice with an emphasis on construction litigation, shareholder disputes and securities litigation. He represents individuals, businesses and municipalities in a variety of complex and high-stakes matters. Christophe has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario on motions, trials and appeals and has participated in domestic and international arbitrations. Christophe also has a growing alternative dispute resolution practice and has acted as a court-appointed referee with respect to class action settlements.

In addition to his litigation practice, Christophe regularly advises clients regarding the preparation and negotiation of construction agreements and public procurement processes.

Before joining Loopstra Nixon LLP, Christophe articled and was litigation counsel in the Ontario Securities Commission's enforcement branch, where he worked on investigations, administrative proceedings, and appeals relating to securities offences.

When he is not advocating on behalf of his clients or helping them navigate complex situations, Christophe can be found watching sports, playing golf or reading books about history.
