Bio

Mark practices municipal, land use planning and development law.

His experience includes appearances before the Ontario Land Tribunal (former the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and the Ontario Municipal Board) and the Toronto Local Appeal Board in matters concerning Growth Plan Conformity, Official Plan and Zoning Amendments, Site Plan Approval, Development Charges and Heritage Conservation Districts. He is also experienced in the negotiation and preparation of development agreements and condominium documents and drafting of municipal regulatory by-laws. He has represented both large and small Ontario municipalities and several private entities, including land developers, landowner groups, and individuals.

Mark articled with Loopstra Nixon LLP and joined the firm after his call to the bar in 2008.
