Allan Ritchie certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Corporate and Commercial Law.

On June 9, 2014 the Law Society of Upper Canada recognized Loopstra Nixon Partner, Allan J. Ritchie, as a Certified Specialist in Corporate and Commercial Law. 

Allan becomes one of only 22 lawyers in the Province of Ontario who hold this designation. The Certified Specialist Program recognizes Ontario lawyers who have met established standards of professional experience and knowledge in designated areas of law and have maintained exemplary standards of  practice over a broad range of matters. 

In addition to the technical requirements, Certified Specialists must have practiced law for a period of at least seven years and be recommended by their peers in the legal community. At 33 years old, Allan is the youngest lawyer ever to receive this designation.
