Loopstra Nixon LLP forms Task Force to Assist Business Clients Access Emergency Government Credit.

March 15, 2020 - In response to the business liquidity risks posed by COVID-19 restrictions, Loopstra Nixon LLP announced today the formation of a specialized task force to assist our clients and other businesses access the federal government’s Business Credit Availability Program.

Co-Chaired by LN business law partners, Allan Ritchie and Derek Van Doorn, the BCAP Task Force is an interdisciplinary team of finance, restructuring and workplace lawyers who are standing by to assist clients access needed liquidity through this government program.

The $10 billion BCAP Program was announced on March 13 and will provide significant liquidity to private enterprise for working capital, investment and balance sheet resiliency.

Task Force Co-Chair and firm Managing Partner, Allan Ritchie stated “Businesses currently looking to borrow through the BCAP program, or who may be looking to borrow in the coming weeks and months should take steps today to ready themselves so that they can access the BCAP funds on a timely basis”.
